Hey dough lovers!


I'm writing to share some exciting news with you. We’ve changed our name to The Dough Jar! You can now find us at www.thedoughjar.com, on social media @thedoughjar, on all your favorite food delivery apps as The Dough Jar, and in stores and at pop up shops as The Dough Jar. Dough not worry though…we’re still the same company scooping up the same dangerously delicious and safe-to-eat raw cookie dough that you’ve come to know and love. We’ve simply upgraded our name!

We've only changed one word, but there's so much meaning in the switch. Of course on a literal level, we make dough jars, not cookie jars. But it's more than that. Ever since I was a little girl, one of the best things about going to my grandma's house has been raiding the cookie jar that sits on her kitchen counter. And if you're as obsessed with raw cookie dough as I am, you can imagine how much more amazing it would be if that jar was filled with dough. We’re all about making that dream come true, so now it’s time to call it like it is.

Before founding this company, I was not a baker or an entrepreneur. So it's an understatement to say that I've learned a lot about building a dessert business over the past two years. I've discovered the importance of creating a unique company name that reflects the essence of your brand, that you have to be willing to take risks, and that having amazing customers and fans like you makes it all that much easier.

We appreciate your patience during this transition. For a few weeks, there may still be some places online and in stores where you’ll find us as The Cookie Jar DC. If you’re in search of dough, we hope you’ll try us under both names until you find us, until all of our partners make the switch.
